Birmingham School of Law Foundation, a 501(c) 3 non-profit foundation, was created in 2009 as a supportive organization aimed at increasing the accessibility to legal education for all students attending Birmingham School of Law. The Alumni Association is the social and networking “arm” of the Foundation, which is the functioning, fund-raising service organization that leads the effort to obtain donations dedicated to the establishment and perpetuation of scholarships for BSL students. Each year, through the dedication and effort of the alumni, scholarships based on academic performance and financial need are awarded to students seeking to obtain a juris doctorate from BSL.
